About IMAX
A taller 1.43:1 frame, laser projection and a 12-channel sound mix. The biggest picture a cinema can put in front of you.
- The frame
- IMAX films are shot for a 1.43:1 or 1.90:1 frame, so you see more picture rather than a wider crop of the same one.
- The projection
- Dual laser projectors cover a screen that runs wall to wall and floor to ceiling.
- The sound
- A 12-channel mix placed around and above the audience, tuned per auditorium.
Listings paused
We no longer have a live source of showtimes for Spain, so there is nothing current to show here. Cinema and film pages stay where they are; listings return as each cinema is reconnected. Paused since 9 October 2026.
